Date launched

Transcript
This is the sound of a fire engine.
[Fire engine siren sounds]
And this is the sound of a house, engulfed in flames.
[Crackling sound of house burning]
There’s two children upstairs choking on the smoke, whilst their mum is stood helpless on the street.
[Sound of mother screaming]
She’s unable to get past the white-hot flames to save her children. But don’t worry, the firefighters will get there on time…or at least they would if they hadn’t just been called out to a grassfire set alight by kids, for a laugh.
Every year, over 25,000 fires are started on purpose in the North East. That’s 25,000 times the Fire Service might not be able to get to people who really need them. Make sure that you remember that starting fires
ISN’T
just a bit of fun, it costs lives!
