Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service is led by the Chief Fire Officer, Iain Bathgate and Tyne and Wear Emergency Planning Unit is led by the Chief Emergency Planning Officer, Valerie Bowman. Together they deliver a range of services that are aimed at preventing injuries and deaths from fire and other emergencies.
